“John was originally on an Apprentice Driver Course in February with us at Avanti West Coast. He received the devastating news that his mum had been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and his whole world changed and was tipped upside down
He was back coursed to the one starting in June and his attitude and effort has been second to none, despite such personal changes to his world.
A natural teacher, always getting up and drawing on the whiteboard to show his fellow course mates how his thought process was around a certain rule.
One of his course mates who was back coursed with him and on this course too leaned very heavy on him and they did lots of revision together.
He has completed all his assessments with the driver training team and passed with brilliant marks. I guess its all about what he had to overcome, getting back coursed, restarting all his training again, his brilliant attitude, the way he helped others and all this while his mum was really ill.
His resilience really shows all we would ever want from an Apprentice Driver and the determination and commitment makes us so proud that he our Driver!“
