“Customer Service covers so many aspects of the job we do, from the station cleaners to the ticket sellers, these are all types of customer service. The reason I wish to nominate Julie is that, unlike so many, she understands that our commitment to customer service is not limited by the job title on our badges. Julie works as a Train Dispatcher at Cambridge Station, but nothing is beneath her notice; when not dispatching trains she can often be seen picking up litter from the platform, helping out cleaning the customer toilets when no cleaner is available, assisting the Customer Helpdesk with passenger assistance jobs, going above and beyond to aid her fellow dispatchers in their role. I have never seen Julie without a smile on her face, the customers adore her; it is obvious to anybody watching that she truly makes our customers feel valued. In my opinion Julie should be an inspiration to us all; she truly epitomises the term "outstanding customer service" and is truly deserving of this award.“
