Said the following about Jude Tray:

“The CrossCountry North East & Scotland Management Team have chosen to nominate Jude Tray for the Charity Award.

Jude is a Train Manager for CrossCountry at Leeds who always goes above and beyond to help others both at work and in her free time.

As well as balancing a very busy job as a Train Manager, she has dedicated herself to supporting St Gemma’s Hospice in Moortown. She has become a key member of the fundraising team and regularly gives up numerous hours of her own personal time and days off to volunteer and provide care for the residents and their families.

Jude has arranged many fundraising activities to raise hundreds of pounds of vital funds for the Hospice as well as other charities such as MacMillan.

She has actively encouraged CrossCountry colleagues to get involved in supporting her bake sales and has successfully petitioned the business to donate equipment and tickets for charity raffles.

Jude is always thinking of creative fundraising ideas and has arranged toy collections for the Children’s Hospice, completed The Three Peaks Challenge, Tough Mudder and many more.

Recognising Jude’s efforts, CrossCountry regularly receive letters and emails of thanks from the Hospice for the support Jude encourages us to provide.

She is a real Rail Hero and her dedication to supporting her local community and charities deserves a nomination for this award.“
