“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jay on the Northern Line Extension project- a complex, challenging and career- defining project for anyone- not least an apprentice.
I say ‘not- least’ an apprentice- but Jay has stepped up to the plate and consistently produced a variety of deliverables -including reports, specifications, 2d drawings and 3d models.
I’ve been really impressed with how Jay has applied his learning on day release at University with the ‘day job’ in consultancy. This has been supplemented with periods on site where he has seen- first hand- engineering theory applied in practice.
His thirst for practical experience and theoretical knowledge will serve him well in the industry.
Jay is a valued, valuable and versatile member of our team and I wish him well in this competition.“
