Said the following about Jamie Robb:

“Jamie has been an employee of Mott MacDonald for almost 2 years now.

Since his start he has been a great addition the permanent way design team at Mott MacDonald.

He has participated and had very valuable input in high profile design projects.

Mostly he has implemented a managing system for a very significant gauging project which has improved the team's ability to deliver these projects. As well as managing a team of engineers in a productive, proactive and confident way which has proven him to be an engineer worth of recognition.

As such, he should be highly considered as a candidate for Graduate of the year.“

Said the following about Jamie Robb:

“I have worked with Jamie for over one year on the Permanent Way design team at Mott MacDonald. During this time Jamie as shown qualities that extend well beyond what would be expected from a Graduate Engineer.

He has skilfully managed a major gauging clearance project worth hundreds of thousands of pounds, leading a team of engineers to a successful project outcome and further work with the client as well. The organisational competencies he has demonstrated in implementing his management system have made the project very successful. The Client is extremely satisfied with the project's performance and with Jamie personally. Further to this, the innovation and effectiveness of the system and its simplicity allows for it to be implemented in similar projects very easily. Ultimately bringing value to the client and the company as a whole.

On top of this, Jamie has provided valuable design input to a variety of projects. His engineering intuition is spot on, and his ethical behaviour irreprehensible. He has all the ingredients to be a very successful engineer in the future and my choice for the graduate of the year award.“
