“The Incident care team have grown since its inception into a well bonded responsive team of volunteers.
They have helped at many incidents and in that made a difference to individuals involved.
Recently they took part in an exercise with London fire brigade and Ambulance services & Network Rail. Then who new a few weeks later they would be called upon to assist at a real derailment after one of our trains struck a herd of cows.
After setting up in the Village hall at Godmersham they assisted with the passengers who were onboard. helping to provided tea & coffee and forward travel arrangements.“
