Nominations for Project Manager of the Year

Mike Torrington

Said the following about Fin Gregory:

“Fin commenced his career as a Graduate Engineer working for a major Blue-Chip Company. Fin progressed his career working with Network Rail, before joining TXM Rail as a Site Agent in December 2014.

Fin undertakes all aspects of work, from work winning to project delivery, with immense precision, professionalism and decorum. It was these characteristics which enabled him to successfully manage the Construction of a New Railway Siding for a major Glass Manufacturing Company in the North West of the UK; these works included Network Rail connections and associated works.

Fin’s ability to manage and his proactiveness resulted in him excelling significantly in this role, always putting 100% into all aspects of the delivery.

Fin controls the difficulties of Project Management well and efficiently manages the associated complexities – whilst also being a pleasure to work with.

Fin’s positive and proactive attitude enables him to manage the site team efficiently, whilst also implementing SHEQ Initiatives and ideas on site. Fin’s method of working is to embrace change, constantly striving to better himself and the company. An example of these characteristics can be witnessed on the above project, whereby after several consultation meetings, Fin arrange for the donation and construction of a flower planting area for a local Primary School as part of the company’s community involvement.

Fin is a client’s delight due to his helpful and driven nature that ensures success in whatever he leads as failure is not an option no matter how difficult the task at hand is.

Fin is a very determined and driven individual who is always looking at how to develop himself with a view to career progression.“
