“I received the following feedback from a front line colleague who was working with Dave on 23rd Feb 23. The Train Manager stated that he was working 1V68 train back from Birmingham to Plymouth which was not booked to have any catering service between Birmingham and Plymouth.
“Dave Wheatley (RSM Bristol) boarded the train at Birmingham after he had been covering another depots turn of duty which finished at New Street and was due to pass back to Bristol. He has been so helpful and proactive this evening. He jumped on the train and served all the 1st class passengers straight away. Then went down and opened the catering homebase (he had already been forwarded thinking enough to message the previous RSM and ask them not to close it all down so he could serve)
This had helped me out massively and provided great service to the passenger's as quite a few people were asking about catering.
I am so impressed that I felt the need to forward on my thoughts to you."“
