Said the following about Chloe Farrell:

“Chloe was asked to help design an internal campaign for Mental Health Awareness Week which was to raise awareness of the impact of mental health, utilised our mental health first aiders and promoted our support mechanisms. Her work on Mental Health campaigns has been sensitive, tireless and is fuelled by a genuine desire to help people. Chloe is one of the most motivated and eager to teach people I have encountered. I believe she has worked so hard on this particular task as she has a real passion for spreading awareness of Mental Health problems, supporting those who suffer from these, and for the wellbeing of the Merseyrail workforce. The campaign centred on a video that Chloe had helped create which was a member of our Station staff that documented their mental health journey and how their mental health illness has impacted them as well as posters and a communications plan for the campaign. She has utilised our Mental Health First Aiders, created awareness campaigns and worked to guide employees to the Mental Health support we can offer as a business. This project is ongoing. We may never know the extent to which Chloe's dedication to this project could have on our workplace. However, as an educational piece, Chloe's efforts - in particular the video she has worked to create - will be used going forward, her passion for Mental Health First Aiders means that we will soon be recruiting more, and we have now signed the Mental Health Charter.

The campaign hast been a success, as a large number of staff have requested further conversations to take place about their mental health as they now feel comfortable talking about this following the video being viewed and the workshop sessions. What it has done is shown a large number of people and managers in the business the importance of asking for support early and utilising the large amount of support on offer to staff as soon as possible. "In whatever she does, Chloe is a passionate and dedicated colleague. She is professional and will take on any responsibility given to her. She is not afraid to ask for support when needed and offers the same support whenever she has capacity.”

Chloe will only continue to develop and excel throughout her time here, and that she is an asset to Merseyrail. The work she has done in the last 12 month on Mental Health Awareness and Support campaigns have been considered, meaningful, and of an exceptionally high standard. Given she has only been with the business for a little over a year, Chloe personifies a 'Rising Star' and we look forward to seeing what she does next.“
