“At Lime Street Station, the team and I would like to Nominate Charlotte Touhey for the Railstaff Manager Award.
Charlotte is an excellent Manager who leads by example, she is always lending a helping hand to support our Dispatchers and assists our team on the Gate Line when required.
Charlotte is a people person, her door is always open to her team and is contactable day or night. She is a very understanding Manager, who keeps in touch and goes that extra mile to help team members, whilst focusing on staff wellbeing on a daily basis.
Although Charlotte has not been the Station Manager for long, she has an excellent Knowledge of the Railway Rules and Regulations.
Charlotte is very safety-minded and works with Health & Safety representatives to improve on safety on the railways.
One of her safety initiatives was the introduction of the Platform Warden on busy Friday and Saturday evenings, this is a prime example of how she is constantly evaluating staff feedback and leads a proactive approach.“
