“At approximately 12:15 platform dispatch staff member B. Chiles requested BTP attendance to platform 11B due to a suspected suicidal female passenger being present on the extreme end of the platform. A line-block of platform 11 was requested via the PSB & granted shortly after this report. Shift Station Manager A. Wilkes attended the platform and conversed with the passenger until officers could attend. Officers escorted the passenger from the platform, for further questioning & support. At approximately 12:20 all lines re-opened to operational use. Bradley Chiles was personally thanked for this keen observational skills during this incident & his clear and focused response.
Neena Naylor a few week prior had the same lady as Bradly above did Neena listened via the hand held Radio and watched over from P12 and then went over when the incident to talk to Bradley who has never had this type of situation before and to just simply offer some support which I feel in its self is very good to see.“
