“Barry and Gareth are author and illustrator of a book called Ryan's adventure which tells the story of Ryan travelling on the train with his parents, he meets Sammy safety bear and learns how to keep safe on the station. It's fun and interactive with a quiz to reiterate some of the safety aspects.
The book has been printed and is used on edcucationalnvistis to schools, school visits to stations, rail way open days and other community events.
Both Gareth and Barry worked hard to have the book published and the had a Sammy bear costume made. Sammy is a hit with the kids and we believe it helps children to build a relationship with the station and railway. Barry and Gareth really deserve the recognition for putting their God given talents to such a worthwhile cause.“
