Said the following about Angela Jones:

“Angela has been working for Chiltern for almost twenty years across numerous roles, including as a train manager, on-board manager, and now as station staff in the Warwickshire region. Leamington Spa has the nickname 'Leamington Sparkle' for many reasons, but one of these is Angela's drive and determination to make the station a welcoming environment for all those who travel through it.

Whether it be giving colouring books out to children during the school holidays, updating the Leamington message board with jokes and inspirational messages, or leading on ramp training for other members of the team, Angela is an all-rounder who embodies the Chiltern value of doing the right thing for our customers and the communities we serve.

Angela is a selfless member of the team who always thinks about others, and is engaging and proactive in implementing changes that improve customer experience across stations in Warwickshire. Things will be done before they're even asked for, such is her knowledge of and dedication to not only Chiltern, but the passengers who travel with us every single day.

I, and the rest of the Warwickshire region, count ourselves incredibly lucky to have her on our team making such an incredible difference to our communities.“

“Angela goes beyond her duty, she is very flexible. Her customer service skills and approach are the best I have ever seen from any individual. She works in ticket offices and platforms in Leamington, Warwick Parkway and Warwick, wherever she is needed Angela is there to help. She makes people feel better when they meet her with her cheerful happy manner. She gives customers the best service with her knowledge of ticket information for the whole of UK train operators.

She goes beyond her duty with her colleagues, she is outstanding never forgetting their birthdays and special occasions. She lights up the room, keeps the offices spotless, and the public appreciates her.“
