Said the following about Andy Flynn:

“Andy successfully lead the material introduction of the class 387 fleet at Brighton deport. This was the biggest material project at Brighton depot since the introduction of the class 3771-4 fleet and involved a full makeover of the storage facilities, a redesign of the layout and the receiving of no fewer than 1251 unique materials and tools (14253 individual items) valued at multiple millions

All materials were safely received, stored, photographed and accurately accounted for in XVPLUS in a timely manner. He also shrink wrapped high value materials to ensure there was no tampering or deterioration of the assets before cascading to FGW. He created new labels, reorganised the stores to improve the efficiency of the layout, standardised bin locations and designed a new goods inwards which provides a more organised and specious environment for which to work. During a stock audit of the 387 s took place which resulted in 100% stock accuracy.

Andy is an excellent ambassador for Bright Stores and Southern. He Is proactive, hardworking, honest and positive in attitude. He is someone who will come up with good ideas and strive to implement them. In addition to talking on the introduction of the 387 fleet he has volunteered to take on the management of the depot tools and will cover for the team leader when he is unavailable.“
