“Sarah demonstrated great communication in stopping a vulnerable woman from jumping in front of a train. She spoke to her as she was waiting to jump and even at one stage prevented her from jumping. She then rang The Samaritans on her mobile and let the lady talk to a Samaritan whilst Sarah waited with her. Eventually the police arrived and took control. Sarah showed immense bravery in preventing this lady from killing herself, if she hadn’t the lady in question would not be here today a very brave girl indeed deserves this award in my opinion.“
