Said the following about Rosie Jhingan:

“Rosie instils confidence with her clients, she is all our values and staff feel that she is fighting for them and supporting them. Rosie deals with very private and confidential information very professionally, which gains her the trust of our staff. Rosie has become one of our go to people. She is a fountain of knowledge and is a massive support to everyone. What did we ever do without her!

Rosie is our Occupational Health Advisor and since she joined, she has played a big part in many employees’ lives when it comes to improving and supporting their health and wellbeing. When Rosie joined, the business was starting to recover from COVID, however it had taken it’s full effect on staff with large amounts of absence and people were struggling to see GP’s, hospital’s and specialists. Rosie initially spent her time checking in on staff when absent, offer clinical advice on the best way to treat their illnesses which they hadn’t had access to before and advise managers on the best way to support their staff alongside the HRBP’s.

A Colleague stated - "Rosie has been a fantastic help in supporting both the Managers & Staff - support with speaking to staff and supporting them back into work after absence and helping them get the proper medical services they need; whether that is getting their medication reviewed so they are taking the right medication, or getting their appointments for scans/consultations brought forward. She has been a massive help in supporting the teams with their sickness KPI. We often ask Rosie to work her magic, and she absolutely does; with the permission of the staff member, she will contact Consultants PA's and bring appointments forward, she will speak to GP's regarding medication etc. she is an absolute star!"

Rosie has unlimited contact with her clients and deals with very personal details which some clients are reluctant to divulge, Rosie has a warm welcoming manner and soon wins her clients around, she supports our staff through some very traumatic periods and has made friends form her contacts with our staff in a short period of time. Rosie is always on hand to support. She not only helps the business, but she supports the staff and understands what they need. She knows who to speak to and how the staff member needs to be supported by us. She will liaise with the Station Managers and gives us the direction we need to go in. Rosie does this all the time; she is always available at the end of the phone to offer advice and support. She will contact our staff directly and give them any support they need. Rosie has helped support lots of staff back into work. She has spoken to staff who have given her permission to speak to their GP/Consultant/Hospital's. She has had appointments brought forward drastically from 3mths away to 3days away, she has chased Consultants for diagnosis and follow on appointments. She has eased the strain & pressure some of our staff are under while waiting for appointments/diagnosis and given us the right direction to support our staff back into work.

The longer Rosie has been in the business, the more people she has seen and the more impact she has had on people’s lives. Rosie has not been afraid to have a difficult conversation with people about their diet, their drinking and their lifestyle and she has given them the kick up the backside they needed to make the changes they needed. Rosie has literally saved people’s lives by sending people to hospital when she has been doing her “Know your Number’s” health checks as they were about to have a serious medical episode. Rosie has been able to fast track staff through private treatments and speaking with GP’s and specialists to track down and speed up treatment so that staff can receive the treatment they need. She has even gone to hospital with staff in her own time who did not have anyone to go with them and she provided them the support they needed. Rosie has truly gone above and beyond in her role to support staff and it is genuinely heartening to receive the amount of direct feedback I receive from people thanking and complimenting the work she does for them. The HR team have lost count of all the presents that people have sent her to say thank you for what she does.

The business is a much better place whilst Rosie is here and I’m sure the many, many people she has supported will too.“
