“This person is a brilliant member of staff on the station. He has previously won an award for outstanding customer service and I've seen this in action. He acknowledges every commuter that he can, he is incredibly friendly and approachable, and puts a smile on the face of everybody he speaks to as the walk away to get their train. He knows the rail timetables like the back of his hand, and can answer almost every question immediately, without having to check anything. One particular example of his excellent station staff service was when a commuter fell on the stairs and hurt their ankle. He helped them through the station, carrying the luggage, and called them a taxi. He then waited with the person until the taxi arrived and even paid the fare himself, as a gesture of goodwill. Rhys deserves to win the award for station staff of the year, as he puts 200% into his job every single day, and makes everybody around him feel brighter.
