““We recently lost a member of the supervisory team which Ray is part of and have been struggling with resource in the wider team. Despite this increased pressure, Ray has maintained a high level of professionalism, humour and positive attitude. He has given his all and gone over and above to ensure that the tasks and responsibilities in team are completed without issue. His commitment and dedication is extremely commendable.
On a personal note, I would also like to acknowledge the support he has given me. I hadn’t worked in stations before 2015 and have found Ray to be very patient and knowledgeable. Whenever I have had an idea, he has always listened and provided a balanced viewpoint and advice. It is a pleasure to work with him and I know that my thoughts are echoed by our colleagues. Colleagues have remarked about the great job he does and are impressed by his ability to help our colleagues at the same time as keeping the ticket office at Longbridge running smoothly. One has even commented about his ability to “work miracles†with the roster to try to accommodate requests and sincerely appreciate his help when there is disruption.–
