“I transferred over to Volkerrail in January this year from a sister company. I was worried about how I would be accepted within a new company & how my new team would take to me. I needn't have worried. Peter is an amazing Manager & not because of all the frills and fancies but because he is tough, straight forward but always fair (the sense of humour also helps)
He has so much motivation & passion for his job and the rail world we live in that it’s contagious when you’re around him - it’s hard not to feel positive & excited about the projects we work on & the new goals he sets.
On a personal level - Peter continues to get me more involved with all different sides to the rail world & with his continued support I feel like I am thriving in a business which I love! Couldn't think of anyone more deserving of this award.“
