Said the following about Miles Wootton:

“Miles joined us as an apprentice in June 2021 after initially being on a reserve list after our interviews. We were lucky not to have missed out! He has proven himself time and time again to be very dependable, extremely hard working and very keen to learn. Miles is the first in his peer group of 17 other apprentices to achieve his Signalling Design License, which he managed to do in 21 months from joining the rail industry. He has already won the Educationwise 'Most Potential Apprentice of the Year Award' in 2022. Miles is polite and quiet but he demonstrates good confidence in his work and in his own ability and always happy to help his peers. He has the signalling design skillset of someone I would usually expect to have after 5 years experience and he has achieved this in 2 years through hard work and a willingness to learn. Much of his learning has been voluntarily in his own time to supplement his structured learning through his apprenticeship course.“
