Matt is proactive in his own development and is well on his way to becoming a registered Engineer, he works closely with Doctor Kevin Spence at Sheffield Hallam University to develop his skills on Track and Off Track Drainage Designs and the work he has produced through this partnership so far has been exceptional. Matt also supports and encourages development in the other members of his team, as well as giving his time volunteering at local schools to promote Engineering and railway careers, drawing on and sharing his own experiences as a former apprentice and from his experiences through his work experience since then. Matt is a critical and valued member of the team and he has a very bright future ahead of him.“
