“Matthew is Freightliners Safety & Sustainability Programme Lead. Matthew has recently rolled out our new Health & Safety System called Work Wallet which has made a huge difference to how we log, track and trend our Health & Safety events and statistics. Matthew has been involved in this very large project from the start and has made the transition from the old system to the new system as painless as he can for users. He has produced lots of training videos that users can watch to learn all about the system as well as running training courses and training Work Wallet Champions to help with general queries. From migrating information from the old system to the new system and even down to how people log in to Work Wallet, Matthew has not only focused on the system but also the end user, even making logging in to the system as easy as possible. Following the very successful launch of the system Matthew is now the systems administrator.
I have recently had the pleasure of liaising with him to discuss what the system can do for Engineering. Matthews's help and support has been amazing. His positive attitude to the system is fabulous. He has listened to my needs and suggested solutions to meet my requirements. His knowledge of the system is top notch and his attitude to helping and supporting users does not go unnoticed. Even though the system is a Health & Safety, Matthew allows it to be used for other reasons such as briefing and training. He listens to suggestions that users make and works these through to a solution in the system. The system also works via an app on company ipads which allows the whole Freightliner Team access to the system and therefore giving Health & Safety responsibility to everyone! There were a few teething problems with the roll out to the ipads but Matthew has taken these problems on board and worked with IT to find a solution. Matthew has brought Health & Safety to the fingertips of everyone in Freightliner and deserves recognition for it. He is always happy to receive feedback on the system and will work hard to give users what they need. This system has made a real difference to the company. Thank you.“
