“I have worked with Martyn for a number of years but we had the opportunity to work more closely when we embarked on a project to review and re-develop our Conductor Task Based Risk Assessment, Risk Based Training Needs Analysis and Conductor Competence Standards (Project Roccet). Martyn bought a safety conscious mind to the project and put his thoughts and processes across is a way that was easy to digest and created a clear line of evidence through everything we were working on. The work that Martyn put into this project didn't go unrecognised and the work was featured in a case study in Rail Technology Magazine and he was invited to feature on an RSSB workshop to promote the work that was undertaken as part of the project. Martyn's passion for safety is clear to see and following on from the project Martyn moved into a full time position within the Ops Standards and Safet Team at TfW, a role that I feel is perfect for him! It is a pleasure to work with Martyn and use him as a sounding board if anything! Thank you Martyn!“
