“Mark, was working at their depot on a night shift. Their depot is right opposite the station.
Mark witnessed a lady get off a train and walk off the end of the platform and also noticed that she seemed distressed. Mark went over to where she was and started to talk to her in a calm manner. He managed to talk her round to get her to move away from the open line and to go over to their depot which was on the other side of the track. Mark sat with her just outside of their depot, but she was still a little upset and distressed. Mark phoned for an ambulance and then sat with her in their office with some other staff members as he felt this would be a safer place for her, as the depot is right next to the station and open lines. Mark continued to stay with her until the paramedics arrived and they took her to hospital.
After this Mark continued with his night shift.“
