Said the following about Marie-Claire Duffy - **HAS LEFT**:

“Marie-Claire has worked super hard over the last year or so as a community champion to engage with local charities and schools and organising events.

She visited schools in her own time to chat with them about the business and also assisted our Marketing & Partnerships Manager to deliver information about our family ticket. In addition to this she arranged & supported a Halloween Fun Day with Network Rail. This saw best costumes prizes, pumpkin carving and handouts. There has been Mental Health Foundation collection days raising over £1000. Tea & Talk days to raise money for the MHF too. She arranged and took part in a visit to Carlisle and a Carlisle United match for the Glasgow's Young Persons Befriending Service. These young people are largely from under privileged back grounds too and had a super day out!

She volunteered to support the Queen's Birthday celebrations too.

All of this has been done while Marie-Claire continues her day job as GPR on the station and to win this award would be great recognition for her hard work over the last year.“

Said the following about Marie-Claire Duffy - **HAS LEFT**:

“I have nominated Marie Claire for her great work not only with Virgin Trains but also helping out with a train journey for some unfortunate children. Marie Claire took time out of her own time to take these kids on the train and to a football match and made sure they were all looked after with food and drinks and also making sure their journey on virgin trains was an experience. I worked on that train and seeing the appreciation and delight on the kids’ faces was so nice. Marie Claire always goes out her way to really help customers and also staff, she has a lovely nature and personality and is a pleasure to work with.“
