“Margaret joined Bridgeway in 2003 as an administrator in the HR department where she has since provided invaluable support to the Team and to the business as a whole. She has recently been promoted to Senior HR Advisor which recognises her career progression and the key role she plays within the team. Bridgeway has expanded greatly since Margaret joined however she has managed to maintain that personal touch with all our staff. She also takes the time to get to know our new employees ensuring a warm welcome to the business.

Margaret is always approachable and I know there are many across the business that appreciate her ‘no nonsense’ straight talking. She can always be relied upon to get the job done even under pressure.

Margaret is always looking for ways to engage our staff and improve communication and following her suggestion we recently published a special edition of our Newsletter which promoted our Women Engineers and recognised National Women In Engineering Day, something that thanks to Margaret we will now look to be involved with on an annual basis.

Margaret is a Bridgeway person through and through, the linchpin of the HR Team and a great ambassador of our vision ‘Exceeding Expectations Everywhere Safely’.

It is a pleasure to work with Margaret and I personally value the effort and support (as well as the much needed humour) she provides to myself and the HR Team on a daily basis. In my opinion Margaret would be a very worthy winner of this award.“
