Said the following about Lynne Cleworth:

“Lynne joined the business 18 months ago and whilst she had some experience of Safety in her previous job the Rail Industry was totally new to her. She has adapted extremely well to the new challenge she was faced with and quickly became an integral part of the team. She hit the ground running with specific projects ensuring that there was a seamless transition from her predecessor with projects such as the Safety Roadshows and the Eyes Open magazine both of which she has developed further in order to reach a wider audience. She has built excellent relationships with her function and is visible and approachable helping to improve the safety culture within the business and has extensively networked with external stakeholders which has resulted in being asked to present at RSSB forums to other TOC's. She has done extensive work with the Samaritans, BTP and Network Rail in ensuring that all our front line staff are equipped to intervene when a vulnerable passenger is identified and that staff are recognised formally for these actions.“
