“Lisa Godwin has been an onboard manager for years for CSAs and Train managers. She has always gone above and beyond for her colleagues and is a very inspirational person. She also changed my life personally massively by giving me a chance after a far from perfect interview when I’d not long come out of prison. I knew I had turned my life around but I needed someone to believe in me and give me a chance and she did and now 5 years later I am about to start my training for my new role as a Train manager. I credit her with making all this possible, she really is a caring kind, knowledgeable woman who no matter how busy she is will take time out for a chat and to offer advice even when she’s not your manager anymore. She’s now just got a new job as a driver starting in a month but she deserves this award for the fantastic manager she’s been to so many over the years.
