“Undoubtedly Kim deserves to win the Rail Manager of the year award because she has an exemplary character and she is trustworthy to lead others. Her outstanding communication includes transparency, information sharing and listening skills are great she always encouraged her staff to share their ideas and concerns. For me she is my source of inspiration so, definitely I would love to see her receiving that award.

From the first day Kim joined the Revenue Protection Department she has constantly supported not only her direct reports but all her staff. She has provided support which many would consider to be over and above.

One of Kim’s strengths is that she consistently puts staff on the right track to success. She provides guidance and support to them even if this means she spends her own personal time to do so. It’s not uncommon for Kim to work through the entire weekend to ensure her staff succeed.

Whenever one of Kim’s staff are recognised for a job well done you can see how proud she is of their success, you can clearly see this in her face, it is blatantly obviously genuine, her face lights up and anyone can see how very proud she is of the member of staff.

One of Kim’s traits is her humility, she declines to take credit for her assistance, she insists that it was all down to the member of staff, (this is absolutely not always the case) There is no denying the fact that Kim is without a doubt one the best motivator’s this company employs. There is absolutely no question about this; it is Kim’s persuasion and encouragement that catapults the Revenue Protection Department on the path to success.

Kim plays a very important role in propelling not only her direct reports but all other colleagues to succeed. Our employees want to do their best and they want to do this for Kim. The staff, I refer to are not exclusively attached to the Revenue Protection Department.

I can honestly say throughout my adult life I would not hesitate to say Kim has been; not only me; but too many others inspirationally, supportive, motivational and true. Kim is the reason I strive to always do my best for the department and the company.
