“Kay Hinton, Intermodal Manager is the heartbeat of the Freightliner Felixstowe Intermodal operation. She doesn’t just go the extra mile, she goes two to keep the operation running smoothly.
Kay joined Freightliner in 1997 as a dock runner and has been promoted various times, taking up her current position in 2014.
The Freightliner Intermodal organisation has gone through many changes in the last 12 months and Kay has always been the one to keep the business flowing. She continuously steps up to take on extra responsibility and has on so many occasions been the one that put in extra hours to cover shifts and positions that would have otherwise gone unmanned.
Freightliner Felixstowe have seen a substantial volume increase over the last 12 months and it wouldn’t have been possible without Kay’s actions. We couldn’t do it without our Mrs “Freightlinerâ€
Kay is an inspiration to us all at Felixstowe and a very deserving nominee for “Depot Staff of the Year.–
