“Kat my line manager, has always been there for me. From when I needed support to when I was hit by a car. She would always call to check up on me when I needed to get out of my house. Kat would take me to the coffee shop she knew (that's the place I loved the most). Kat knows I don't have a big support network in London and has always done more than expected as a manager for me. She has gone above and beyond, not only for me but for her team, from making me smile when my depression was too much, to checking if I needed food, to seeing if I wanted to chat.
Kat has made coming back to work a great experience. I know I can go to Kat and talk about anything and that it will be a safe space. Kat has helped me to return to work and has helped me to live my life again something I feel that she should be recognised for and awarded for. There is simply too many good deeds that Kat does to write about but I hope that you will consider a nomination to this great manager and person“
