Since John's appointment he has identified staffing management levels not adequate and ensured additional management was in place and supported the team with ensuring standardisation and development of Driver instructors to acting mangers role.
John has spent a lot of personal time supporting new staff and ensuring the depot standards were high.
John has improved audit scores from 73% to 98% and 94%.
John has led a collaborative working group on installing fuelling facilities at Colchester depot, working with Fleet, and private contractors, tracking all hazards and risk, being consciously aware of risk to the business and Network rail.
