“John spent over 30 years on the railway working for the TOC that now is Southern. John ended his career on the platforms at Clapham Junction as a dispatcher where he was loved by sp many staff, and hundreds of passengers. John was a go to guy for knowledge, wisdom ad experience and well as a good laugh. A gentleman of the railway with many fans.
Sadly John passed away this year but his death sparked many of us highlighting how great John was and how much of his working life he gave to the railway and the passengers that met John every day whilst coming through the station. John will always be missed but more importantly, he will always be remembered. Heres a vote to a very exceptional man!“
