Nominations for Station Staff of the Year

Dominic Trice

Said the following about Jamie Good:

“Over the years. Jamie has been a great leader within his role as Tonbridge Supervisor and since he has been seconded into the rostering department, no one compares to how good Jamie looks after his staff.

He assists them in any way he can to care for their personal needs for example fatigue due to long weeks. He always stops and has a chat with the staff his rostering caring for their wellbeing seeing if they would care for a little bit extra overtime if it's for sale.

He has come up with multiple ideas on how to improve the Tonbridge and Hastings group and is currently dealing with a heavy work follow working out rotas, but making sure it's the best for the staff

Jamie should get station staff of the year because he is a true team player and asset to the railway“

Said the following about Jamie Good:

“Jamie is one of the supervisors at Tonbridge station. He had in his previous role come up with new ideas of how to identify rostering issues and shortfalls. Which lead to him being sought out to be seconded into the rostering department. He has done wonders in the department, has created many separate rosters for staff when required and will always assist staff wherever possible including covering shifts for them at short notice.“

His knowledge of the Southeastern network and expertise in all areas of platform, supervisor and rostering roles are of a huge advantage to our entire area

Said the following about Jamie Good:

“I feel Jamie Good is an outstanding example of what a team player should be he is approachable smiley and doesn't mind getting stuck in.

He is currently my partner’s roster clerk and as we both work for the railway and have young children he goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure minimal shift clashes thus allowing a great balance of family and work time.

I feel Jamie deserves his name to be shone in lights for being a friendly helpful member of the Southeastern team“

Warren Jarvis

Said the following about Jamie Good:

“Jamie is currently the acting roster clerk for the Tonbridge/Maidstone area. I am nominating Jamie because he has been a step above any roster clerk we have had in this area previously. He knows the people working on the line, which is no easy feat when you are covering 20+ stations. He is regularly taking an interest in how everyone is doing and will go round and talk to people which is a great demonstration of one of our values. He is also managing to keep a high number of stations open even though there are a vast number of vacancies on the line.“
