“Heather has brought so much inspiration at Crewe station she likes all of us at Crewe to feel like a family.

Her support is amazing and she has taught and Made sure we have our own empowerment . Supporting our own community at Crewe bringing schools to tour round our station. Lots of children have never been on a station or a train. Heather has got us all involved in this project we her team are enjoying this experience. Her support for her team and local community is fantastic. We do not look at Heathet as a manager we at Crewe station look at her as Part of a team.

She promotes us to give good customer experience to respect each other and we find it very important she knows everything about our families and sends cards and texts for every celebration or supports our sad times we are so lucky to have this rapport with heather she do deserves an award for taking us forward and all believing how special we are thank you heather she has helped us promote ideal customer services and sends us all on courses to help promote this:

Said the following about Heather Hodkinson:

“Heather has been with our business for many years and over this time has risen from team organiser to onboard manager and now station manager and everywhere she goes she brings a smile to people's faces.

She works incredibly hard, nothing is ever too much trouble no matter how many phone calls or emails are piling up or what may be going on personally her dedication to the team's she manages is second to none.

One recent incident on her station saw her work alongside a colleague to save a girls life who was trying to commit suicide in the station toilets. Having successfully managed this situation to see the girl saved and safely taken to hospital Heather then continued her day by supporting a local school visit to her station with fantastic poise and professionalism despite the mornings horrific events. This is one of many instances where Heather drew on her resolve and unending positivity to support her team to deliver an amazing experience for all.

Heather by no means backs away from a challenge but will manage people in a way that's inclusive and respects their individuality to get the best from them. When you travel around with Heather to visit places she has managed previously she is treated like a hero, it is truly inspiring and lovely to see her hard work paying off in the way people welcome her like an old friend.“
