“Paola and her team are the unsung heroes when it comes to apps at GTR. Very often if something is easy and simple to use there will have been mountains to move in the background, and that is exactly what they do.
I have worked with Paola and Tom on many occasions with 3 different apps that they have created for me. Each one they have poured so much experience into helping them be real industry-leading initiatives. From creating an app that allows thousands of frontline colleagues to read safety critical briefings, to creating a phone book and station directory where phone numbers and station information are at everyone’s fingertips.
The attention to detail that they bring to every project is simply outstanding. Everything done is to make it as easy for the staff member as possible. Thinking way outside the box to clear out the way any blockers.
Some people might say it’s simply their job. But, to do it with such passion, skill, and support for the app owners and app users is beyond anything that is in a job description.
