Said the following about Elwira Ciszewska:

“Christopher Peddie, Train'd Up:

Ela has proved to be an exemplary learner up to this point. She has approached each task with enthusiasm, attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Ela always completes work on time and is fully engaged in the workshop sessions. She takes full responsibility for her own learning and values the opportunity to develop her skills and competence in areas that will provide opportunities to progress in the future. She is an absolute pleasure to work with.

Helen Dickerson, Elwira's Manager says:

"Elwira was the first female Yard Assistant in the yard team at Crown Point Depot, part of Greater Anglia’s Engineering Department. Elwira’s predominant duties are to service trains and shunt trains, and she can control moves with a driver into specific depot locations relating to maintenance requirements. Elwira has never been confident in her own abilities, but she is very good at the role she carries out.

During a check-in session with Elwira back in 2022 she mentioned that her hopes and aspirations were to one day progress to an administration-type role within Greater Anglia. Currently, Elwira is in a role which does not require any administration tasks, her aspirations were such a stark contrast.

With the support of the management team, Elwira joined the Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship this year and at the beginning was full of stress and doubt. She worried that she would let everyone, including herself down. What actually happened is the very opposite. Elwira, with encouragement, has progressed to own her own projects, she is carrying out various work for Engineering Assurance as well as the Depot Stores Department.

Elwira is flourishing and it is fantastic to watch her progress as she develops and continues through her apprenticeship. I am genuinely proud of her, proud of her achievements so far and I know this is just the very beginning of Elwira’s career journey. "“
