Elliot is leading the Railway Control System (RCS) engineering team of the Deep Tube Upgrade Programme (DTUP) for Transport for London (TfL). Elliot clears uncertainty and empowers team members to take actions.
This year, Elliot also stepped up to lead the System Engineering team which he reshaped in order to bring comprehensive requirements to the delivery projects.
Elliot greatest quality is his listening skill. He engages in reflection rather than giving advice for both work and personal related issues. He’s honest and doesn’t shy away from engaging in a debate in order to ensure the best potential output for his team, the programme and the company.
Elliot fosters team spirit. For example, he created on his personal internet domain a Friday breakfast club for each team member to enjoy a cheat Friday treat.
Elliot is always supporting his team members by empowering us to take actions such as organising a team event. We can always count on him to do the extra mile such as actively supporting chartership application of his team members.
Elliot is constantly happily going above and beyond his responsibilities for his team members, the DTUP and TfL, and therefore, I’d like to nominate him for Rail Manager of the Year.“
