“Dorian is a thoroughly nice guy who is more enthusiastic about what he does best; keeping people safe, than anyone I have ever met before. For anyone who has ever attended a Volker Fitzpatrick Behavioural change seminar or an IIF (Injury & Incident Free) meeting, he can't keep still and bounces around the stage like a Welsh jumping bean. His attitude, enthusiasm and jovial character is contagious and is a refreshing change from both the common image of safety professionals and quite often the reality.
The huge benefit of this to his work is that everyone remembers every word he speaks and takes what they have learnt back to their own companies or departments to instil the same commitment and change in an ever increasing radius. If ever there was someone that could make the masses stop, think and work safer by communicating their message in a way that will be remembered for a very, very long time, Dorian is the man.
Not only has he made a huge impression on myself and our Group Rail Director, Andy Howard prompting him and 2 of our Senior Supervisors to become IIF Coaches but his message has been drilled into all of our Rail operatives and many more besides. He has also one of the funniest guys in the rail industry.“
