“Carl joined Victa Railfreight in 2017 and brought with him a wealth of knowledge in the resourcing field. His role within Victa is so much more than just a Rostering Manager! He liaises every day with our customers and is well known for his creative thinking whilst assisting them.
His detailed understanding of the railway operations enables him to respond to a customer’s request in a realistic manner and he is able to work out achievable solutions so the most amount of work is covered safely, minimising disturbance to customer services as much as is possible. He is probably one of the most embedded people in our organisation regarding communication with our customer portfolio.
It is Carl that our customers approach when a service or activity needs cover, it is Carl that our frontline people approach about daily concerns regarding resource management, and it is Carl that mediates with our groundstaff and drivers to deliver a safe and effective service for our customer. No question, Carl is a very passionate individual who firmly believes in our core beliefs and ethos, a difficult role that he delivers with passion and enthusiasm.“
