“The growth and expansion of Bridgeway Consulting Ltd has put increased demands on the HR Team which has continued to support the business at all levels when required. The Team which has now grown and is headed up by Lisa Brackner includes Margaret Fisher, Annette Harris, Neesha Kanani and Amy Stockdale and between them they provide Bridgeway with over 50 years of combined HR experience. Each team player has their own unique style, many of them working flexibly and around family commitments however the success is testament to the team ethos and support they provide one another to ensure HR guidance is always on hand when required.
The team possesses a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of HR including recruitment through to more complex areas such as TUPE. Our HR Team provides guidance and support through the ever changing minefield of employment legislation as well as giving ongoing advice on a range of HR issues where required.
What makes this a winning team is the approachable nature of all those working within it. This ensures we are at the heart of the business supporting Employees at all levels when required. A typical day can range from arranging charity events and recruiting new employees to updating policies and procedures that streamline the business processes.
One of our biggest challenges in September 2014 was to support the successful relocation of our Head Office this provided a number of HR issues to overcome, the main one being travel and parking arrangements. Through engaging the workforce in the entire process we developed a car parking policy and negotiated discounted rates for employees to use the local park and ride service. Following the successful office relocation the HR Team led the business in achieving our 10 Year Investors in People Award which was presented in November 2014.
