“My reasons for nominating Brian is that he is a terrific Train Manager working for Cross Country based at Bournemouth as well as being the centre coach, inspiring and always willing to assist his colleagues.
Brian has not only a passion for sharing his excellent ticketing knowledge, he is extremely passionate about getting the most from our trains. He works closely with the fleet team and out Maintenance service provider and has been responsible for,through his tenacity and exploration of the technical challenges that we as a business have greatly improved our reservation system on our Voyager fleet.
He has personally sought information and used this to identify software, connectivity and technical conflicts on the Voyager fleet that has previously caused problems with the electronic reservation system and has worked tirelessly to overcome these challenges.
The result is a vast reduction in units that have problems downloading the reservations which in turn enhances the customer experience, creating great journeys and makes the job easier for his colleagues“
