Nominations for Rail Manager of the Year

Michael Solarin

Said the following about Adnan El-Farzazi:

“Adnan El-Farzazi has constantly been a source of great support, advice, and encouragement. Having moved into a management position and worked with him, this nomination is my first and only nomination in light of working with him, which speaks of how highly of him I believe his performance and attitude have been in my over 18 years in the industry.

Adnan has always been available to answer questions, clarify information and offer advice and support to managers and drivers, whilst having a warm and friendly attitude at all times.

Adnan has in my opinion, always been open, friendly, and welcoming, whilst always maintaining a professional attitude and this consistent behaviour is not only a benefit for all members of the team that he deals with, but reflects well on the railway industry as a whole in a very sensitive time in the rail industry where there are many obstacles and sensitive issues on-going such as pay talks and strike action.

Adnan has been a credit to the management position and has behaved in a manner in which all managers should aspire hence my nomination.“
