“Abigail joined the TFW safety team as an apprentice in August 2022 and has never looked back. Coming into a completely new industry, Abi has thrown herself into learning the intricacies and complexity of managing rail operational and occupational safety.
Beyond excelling in her apprenticeship training, she has also helped to cover important aspects of the team's work, quickly learning new skills and diligently applying them when the we were short staffed. She happily jumped into unfamiliar work when our need was greatest.
Abi has shown herself to be an adaptable, skilled, hard working and well liked member of our team. She has embraced every part of her work and learning with relish and professionalism. She has proved to be an invaluable asset to us.
Abi has now embarked on the next phase of her development journey, taking on the challenges of gaining her NEBOSH Level 3 certificate. We are sure she will achieve a great result and have a great career in rail.“
