Said the following about Anthony Trice:

“Anthony is well known amongst the commuters and travellers of Ashford station, providing a friendly face and a warm welcome to all passing through the station. He knows many of the commuters by name, and indeed they know him too, laughing and joking as they pass by. Assisting customers needs and always going further than is required of his duties, Anthony is a model employee who's spirit and presence was solely missed earlier in the year when he had to take time away. His return was met with joy and happiness from the regular commuters, who had missed his friendly face and terribly bad jokes. No problem or disruption is too small, and Anthony gets stuck in when needed to assist his colleagues away from the gateline.

On a personal level, having travelled through Ashford station each day, and seen Anthony at work, he has been supportive and caring. Providing a friendly face and a person to talk too when you have a problem. It is the level of care that Anthony offers to anyone who needs it that is simply outstanding and demonstrates commitment to the needs of others.

Anthony continues to provide excellent customer service, and rightly deserves to be recognised for his achievements, his passion and dedication for the role. Without Anthony the station is a much quieter place. He brings a certain charm to the station that keeps smiles on faces even in the most difficult of times.“
