“I would like to nominate Diana who works at Purley ticket office Southern Railway for the courage & initiative she had about swapping her warm bed for a cold floor on the 9 February at St Pancras train station for the Big Event Sleep Out 2023 .
Raising money for a very well known charity Railway Children which helps vulnerable children from the railway premises from around the world .
She also raised awareness by telling her story and encouraging people for volunteering and raising money if they can as you can change the world by helping others towards media.
Diana after work on the 9 February packed her bags and went to sleep on the night on the St Pancras station cold floor to raise the money for Railway Children.
Diana’s target at 1st was £400 and then she pushed herself raising over £700 which she did very well taking in consideration that it was her first attempt to such a big event.

Diana nearly doubled her set target of £400 while supporting Railway children by sleeping at one of the main hub stations in London.
Diana went out of her way to help an NHS employee who had left their belongings behind at the station. She kindly assisted in retrieving the forgotten items.
