“Annie joined Alstom 9 months ago as a Project Manager, and has rapidly hit the ground running with delivering new technologies and signalling. In Alstom, we see Annie on a huge trajectory to grow and overcome the many challenges which Projects face within the rail industry. She continues to impress the client with her natural ability to overcome problems in a calm, collective manner and whatever challenges Annie faces she overcomes them and more. Annie has started her APM (Association of Project Management) journey to achieve diploma level, along with studying PRINCE2 in her own time outside of work to further develop her Project Management leadership skills. We are very lucky as a business to have an individual like Annie, and we are very fortunate she is part of our team.

Annie was given a £2.2 million contract working on Holbeck Project to enable data production for the deployment of lockout devices at Leeds Station and new track layout at the approach to Holbeck Depot for a commissioning in Christmas 2022. Annie was able to work collaboratively with the Client team, and within short timescales, overcome challenges faced with complex data and staged works to remain on programme, within budget, mitigating risks to the commissioning, and achieving the benefits and outcomes required to successfully commission the works over the Christmas period. Annie’s team faced many adversities on the lead up to commissioning, but through hosting internal meetings and supporting the team in coming together, managed to alleviate pressures, to attain the desired outcomes.
