“Nicola reconised that a young lady was distressed at the far end of the platform so she approached her to discover that she was suicidal. Nicola spent the next two hours talking to her and shareing photos on their respective mobile phones, showing her that there is an alternitive and that there is always someone who cares. Nicola stayed with her until a paramedic arrived as the young lady would not speak to BTP officers that also attended. Nicola has had no training to do this and not only did she save the life of a 19 year old girl she got her the care that was required.“
“Thank you for another fantastic RailStaff Awards event. As usual, the attention to detail was perfect, and all aspects of the evening were perfect. We had 23 GWR colleagues attending, and all couldn't stop talking about how magical the experience was. Their Facebook feeds are very busy this morning with lots of photos!
