“"The Virgin team at MKC have been recognised by the company in preventing several suicides this year alone. We have found that having Black Diamond, who are an agency security firm that patrol the platforms at various locations looking for vulnerable people and unusual behaviour then alert staff to help. We have not had a suicide since they have been at MKC but have helped us notice several people that have been close or threatening to do it. Thanks to all the virgin staff at MKC attending the Samaritans course we have gone on to stop several vulnerable people from taking their lives on the railway. I as a Team Leader at MKC am always singing the praises of what we achieve at MKC and recently through our internal recognition scheme several of us have been awarded by Virgin on the platforms is a great help. I wish to nominate us all as a team““
