““Yubaraj and James were called to respond to a suicidal male on the track during a busy evening peak, they had just arrived at the station so immediately made their way to locate the male who had walked off the platform end. They located him and introduced themselves to calm the male and using there MSC training they were able to approach him and assist him off the track and into the station office on the platform into a place of safety. The male was very distressed, bleeding from the face and breaking down in tears due to his current situation, Yubaraj and James comforted him for a further 30 minutes before handing him over to Kent Police to be further cared for.
Yubaraj and James' quick actions helped prevent any harm coming to him, they remained calm throughout and there training ensured he was taken to a place of safety and got the help he needed.““
